Starting now, you can join forces with Dell to provide digital opportunities for everyone through digital inclusion, quality healthcare, giving and volunteering.

Dell’s Transforming Lives initiative focuses on bridging the digital divide through digital inclusion—the actions we can take to foster digital equality so all people, regardless of age, race, gender, socioeconomic status or ability, have equal access to digital resources.

Digital problems require digital solutions

As digital technology continues to transform the way we live, it also changes the way we work. The rapid rise in digital-focused jobs has changed the workforce. Now, workers unable to adapt to the new digital landscape could soon find themselves unable to survive in this shifting economy.

Perhaps even more concerning is our school systems being unprepared to keep up with the rapid pace of change. Today, 40% of schools lack basic internet connectivity, and whole communities are falling behind. Analysts tell us we could find ourselves amid a global talent shortage of more than 85 million people by 2030.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Now is the time to join forces and bring about real and effective change. Whether you have your own initiatives in place or are still defining them, Dell believes that we can come together in partnership and affect a far more significant change together than separately.

Dell’s Transforming Lives initiative has identified three programs that can bring about much-needed change with your help:

1. Sponsor a Solar Community Hub

Solar Community Hubs are solar-powered internet centers that connect community members to the digital world. Together with non-profit partner Computer Aid International, you and Dell can help provide educational services, community support, economic opportunities and access to water, electricity, healthcare and biodiversity preservation.

2. Mentor Girls Who Game

Girls Who Game is an extracurricular program created by Dell Technologies in partnership with Microsoft and Intel. The program helps underserved students across North America to learn about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through gaming.

3. Nominate an NGO for the Pro Bono Program

Nonprofit organizations face challenging resource and IT constraints that make it difficult to respond effectively to emergencies. That’s why Dell is partnering with 1000 nonprofit partners by 2030 to support them, pro bono, on their digital transformation journeys.

Dell proudly supports the expansion of research access and computing capacity through work with its OEM partners. You can help your customers do the same using Dell Technologies OEM Solutions to turn their boldest ideas into innovations and bring them to market faster.
