Part 2: 4 Actions You Can Take To Demonstrate Your Cybersecurity Expertise

In part one of this blog series, we pointed out that October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and how it presents a tremendous opportunity for partners to connect with their customers. We offered up some key topics that partners could use to start these discussions.

In this part two we provide four actionable ways in which you can approach customers with tangible proof of concept initiatives in partnership with Dell Technologies. Specifically:

1. Host a Customer Webinar or Workshop: Collaborate with Dell experts to host a virtual event focused on a key security topic. Coverage could include "Building a Zero Trust Architecture" or "Securing the Hybrid Workforce." This positions partners as thought leaders and provides tangible value to attendees. Dell offers resources and subject matter experts to help ensure success.
2. Launch a Security Assessment Campaign: Offer a complimentary security health check or risk assessment for top customers. This is a powerful way to identify vulnerabilities and open the door for strategic discussions about upgrading infrastructure. It’s a direct path to uncovering new opportunities and demonstrating a proactive approach.
3. Share Targeted Content: Leverage Dell’s library of whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts. Create a straightforward email campaign for the customer base, sharing relevant content that addresses specific industry challenges. Tailor messages to demonstrate an understanding of unique needs and offer tailored solutions.
4. Highlight Dell’s Secure Solutions: Dell’s portfolio is built with security at its core. Become familiar with and promote key offerings:

Secure Devices: Highlight how Dell’s commercial PCs, with built-in protections below and above the OS, provide the industry's most secure foundation for work.
Modern Data Protection: Showcase how Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery solutions can isolate critical data, identify suspicious activity, and accelerate recovery after an attack.
Intrinsic Security: Explain how Dell’s infrastructure solutions, from servers to storage, are designed with security embedded at every phase of the lifecycle.
