The World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos took place in May, and this year’s theme was – fittingly – “History at a Turning Point”. Between the ongoing global pandemic, wars, and national tensions; the evolving energy crisis; and more, world leaders are tasked with the difficult job of restoring global trade, improving economic activity, and establishing long-term sustainability practices for our planet, or risk facing dire geopolitical and economic consequences.
